The Turning of the Tide by Charles Dana Gibson

The contract for "Marry Me" has been turned in and now I get the lovely job of coming up with notes for my cover artist.

While researching links for her info sheet, I came across this beautiful sketch by Gibson (yes, the guy who invented Gibson Girls) that fits the mood of my story perfectly:

No, this illustration will not end up on on the cover, but oh, it so evokes the mood!

A to Z Challenge: Kissing

Nothing says Romance like a kiss. I can't think of a single Romance novel I've read that didn't have kissing in it. All of my novels have kissing in them even though most of them are considered "sweet" fantasy. I have yet to write a spicy scene of Brown Chicken Brown Cow, but every one of my Romance must have a kiss.

A romance novel without a kiss must be pretty tame indeed.

So today on Romance Spinners, we're celebrating the Kiss.

Top Ten Synonyms for Kissing
